PSHE
The aim of PSHE at All Hallows is guided by our vision ‘to create happy, successful students who reach their full potential and leave the school with integrity and moral purpose’.
We aim to provide every student with opportunities to develop their character, attributes and skills in accordance with our school Core Values in order to become happy successful and well-rounded students. In PSHE we educate our students about the matters and issues that affect their lives, to enable them to explore and reflect upon these topics in a safe and nurturing environment and to develop their understanding and character in order for them to be able to flourish throughout their school career and into life beyond school.
PSHE is taught at All Hallows in 100-minute lessons, in order to enable students to examine important topics in depth and to allow time for thought, discussion and questioning. Alongside timetabled PSHE lessons is an ongoing Personal Development programme which is followed during form time and consists of a flexible programme of relevant and emerging age-appropriate topics and issues.
The current PSHE programme can be found here.
Relationships, Sex and Health Education (RSHE) is taught at age-appropriate points in the curriculum, primarily through PSHE, RE and Science. Our RSHE policy and programme can be found here: https://www.allhallows.net/policies.html
