Catholic Life
The Catholic ethos of All Hallows permeates all aspects of school life. The whole school community comes together regularly to pray and worship, through masses, liturgies and assemblies, as well as enjoying opportunities for reflection, reconciliation and remembrance.
We have a beautiful Chapel that is used daily for House Liturgies and for weekly Friday morning Mass, in which different priests come into to school and say Mass for both students and teachers. We are fortunate to have several student altar servers who also serve in their parishes. Parents are also welcome to join us for Friday morning Mass. Our Mass starts at 08:15 am and is an ideal opportunity for members of school community to come together at the end of the week to hear the good news of the Gospel. The Chapel is also used during RE lessons for meditation, reflection and prayer.
We have a dedicated school chaplain and a chaplaincy team who support the Catholic life of the school in many ways throughout the school year.
We are an outward-looking community and throughout the year students and staff come together to reach out to local, national and international charities, as well as to members of the local community, to offer fund-raising and other forms of support.
