Tutor System
One of the strengths of All Hallows Sixth Form College is the care and support we provide for our students. A large part of this is the tutor system, which is part of the wider pastoral care and personal development programme.
Each student is part of a tutor group, who meet with their tutor every morning between 8.50 and 9.10. In year 12, tutor sessions involve daily worship, followed by an activity, including student-led presentations on a topic of their choice, discussions about current affairs, study skills and the famous Friday quiz competition. In year 13, the focus becomes the next steps after Sixth Form, be it looking for university courses, apprenticeships or jobs. Tutors develop strong relationships with students and are often the first port of call for advice or support.
