DofE - Duke of EdinburghThe Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Scheme is a nationally and internationally recognised award which is acknowledged by employers and universities alike. The award is very well established at All Hallows School and offers a wide range of challenges and opportunities to our students.
The school offers the award at all three levels: bronze, silver and gold. Students achieve the award by completing a personal programme of activities in four sections (Volunteering, Physical, Skills and Expedition), each of which they undertake for a set period of time. At gold level, a fifth section is also required, which is a residential experience. School contacts:
Bronze
All participants must undertake a further 3 months in one of the Volunteering, Physical or Skill sections.
Silver
Direct entrants* must undertake a further 6 months in the Volunteering or the longer of the Physical or Skill sections.
*A direct entrant is any student who has entered the award scheme straight at this level and not completed the level prior to this. Gold
