All Hallows has been a designated Technology College since September 1995.   
As a Technology College, we aim to use our specialist status to raise standards of achievement and the quality of learning in design and technology, science, mathematics and ICT for all our students across the ability range.

All Hallows is an active partner  with our local family of schools and their communities, offering opportunities for enriching and extending learning experiences by sharing resources and good practice.

In recent years this additional funding has been used in many ways:

• to buy in extra technician support

• refurbish an ICT room with 25 new networked PCs 

• using our staff to promote technology within the community

• providing a completely new Food Technology facility

• refurbishment of Science facilities, with four brand new laboratories completed

• refurbishment of  the lower Design and Technology suite to include a 'state of the art' CAD/CAM facility

• creation of new ICT suite for 6th form

• installing numerous 'Smartboards' with digital data projection facilities

• the introduction of 'Moodle', the web based learning platform

In recent years Science staff have delivered specialist lessons at our five partner schools and Mr. Derek Land has assisted Yr 5 students at St Polycarp’s with their ‘Moving Monster Project’. 

The TCI departments run annual subject specific sessions with our main Primary feeder schools.

We organise annual whole school training sessions related to our TCI status.

Community Links

All Hallows works closely with its partner  schools to ensure that the benefits of specialist school status are shared across the community. However we welcome enquiries from local schools who feel that they may benefit from our expertise.

The University of the Third Age organises ICT classes using our new ICT suite and some of our local Scout and Girl Guide Groups use our workshops, food rooms and ICT facilities.
