  A message from
Mr. Spare, DIRECTOR OF SIXTH FORM

I count myself lucky to be the holder of this post and fortunate to be able to work with some of the most gifted youngsters our country has. My role here is to support and guide our students through both a demanding and rewarding couple of years. Our vision is that students should strive to achieve their academic potential whilst not losing sight of their role in the community, both here at All Hallows and in the world at large. I believe that the range of subjects and activities on offer here along with the commitment of the staff at All Hallows gives our students the opportunity to do this. Both the students and I are fortunate to have the assistance of Mrs. Clay (History Department) and Miss Jewell (Psycholgy Department) along with a team of experienced and committed tutors as we strive to achieve our goals. I very much look forward to welcoming you to the Sixth Form College at All Hallows.

Sixth Form College at All Hallows

Open Evening for Year 11 students will be at 18:00 on 12th November 2008 - everyone welcome whichever school you currently attend

SUCCESSFUL

All Hallows has a very successful 6th form college welcoming students from other schools, as well as our own students. Our 2008 A-level pass rate was 99.3%, with 48% of passes at grades A or B.

Our students proceed to Oxford and Cambridge, prestigious Medical Schools, and a wide range of other universities, colleges and employers. There has also been great success in our vocational courses.

CARING

Students in our Sixth Form enjoy the benefits of being part of a smaller community than found in other colleges, with small teaching groups and a unique caring atmosphere, based on the Christian values which characterise the main school also.

DEMANDING

However, we also demand high standards and we will encourage and support each student in achieving the individualised target grades that we set.

WELCOMING

For more information about the Sixth Form college and to arrange a visit, please contact the Director of Sixth Form.

  • Students from other schools and colleges are very welcome to apply to our Sixth Form college.
  • Each year we welcome students who transfer from local 11-16 schools because they are attracted by the smaller, more friendly style of our College.
