CAROLINE'S FLUTE SUCCESS
DATELINE : Monday March 3rd 2008
Caroline Fisher (
Year 13 ) has just been awarded a performing diploma on the flute from the
Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music. This means that not only can she
use the initials DipABRSM after her name, but she is also entitled to wear the
academic dress of a hood and gown!
Caroline started
playing the flute when she was 9 years old and gained a distinction at grade 8
when she was in year 11. She currently trains our flute choir, sings in
Cantamus and the Chamber Choir.
She is also well known for
her playing
of the vibraphone in the Modern Jazz Quartet. Congratulations from everyone at
All Hallows.
