GCSE RESULTS ROCKET

Hearty congratulations to our Year 11 and Year 10 GCSE students for record levels of attainment. The Government now likes to measure how well a school is performing by counting the number of students who pass at least 5 GCSEs at grades between A* and C, of which two must be English and Mathematics. Our Year 11 recorded 67% this year, a significant increase on last year's 60% rate and well above the national and local averages. The overall figure for five or more A*-C grades was 72%, another excellent performance, and again an increase on 2007. There were many outstanding individual achievements, so congratulations to every student for their successes this summer.
